PITTSBURGH, PA – La Roche women's volleyball (4-14) could not overcome a two-game deficit as they fell to Waynesburg University (8-6) 3-0 (25-12, 25-18, 25-22) in the home-opener at the Kerr Fitness Center.

The Lady Redhawks trailed two games to none before taking Waynesburg to the wire in the third game. La Roche made a 6-1 run to tie the third game at 22-22 but the Yellow Jackets scored the final three points to end it.

Shawn Neiswonger finished with eleven kills and Emily Foust added ten assists. Libero, Courtney Stiner, led the Lady Redhawks on defense with fourteen digs and Brittany Demeno had three aces.

La Roche women's volleyball will travel to Grove City on Wednesday before going to Buffalo for a tri-match on Saturday.
