PITTSBURGH, PA - The La Roche Men's and Women's Cross Country teams hosted an invitational before they hit the road for their conference championship race. The teams were gifted with a warm, dry day and a lot of fun.
Highlights
On the men's side (SR) Ian Warui finished in 13th place overall running a time of 20:35.5 with teammates (SR) Miguel Martyr placing 19th and (FR) Matthew Mars placing 20th to help lead La Roche University to an overall 4th place finish in the team standings.
On the woman's side (SR) Karelys Sotomayor finished in 2nd place overall running a time of 25:01.0 with teammates (SR) Paige Grogan placing 13th and (FR) Madison Dalverny placing 14th to help lead La Roche University to an overall 2nd place finish in the team standings.
Top 10 overall medaled in the men's and women's 5K race.
