Redhawks Season Ends In AMCC Tournament Semifinal

ERIE, Pa. - La Roche men's basketball saw its season come to a close on Friday night, falling to Pitt-Greensburg, 82-65, in the AMCC Tournament Semifinal, played at Penn State Behrend.

It was a slow start for the Redhawks, as they fell behind, 12-2, in the first six minutes of play. Never wavering, La Roche found its way back in it, using the next 10 minutes to cut the deficit to 30-26, but a 5-0 run ended the half for the Bobcats, who took a 35-26 edge into the half.

Out of the break, the red and white cut the deficit again to six, 40-34, but an 8-0, Greensburg run, moved the score back to double figures.

The rest of the way, the score stayed in double figures and would close the season for the Redhawks.

Bryce Epps led the way for La Roche with a 19 point effort and chipped in seven rebounds. Logan Golle followed Epps with 17 points, while Major Rainey was the third in double digits with 13 points and six rebounds.

The Redhawks close the 2025-26 season with a 14-13 overall record and went 12-4 in AMCC play. There is a lot to look forward to in 2026-27 for La Roche, as all five starters are set to return, alongside their top two players off the bench.
