GREENVILLE, Pa. - La Roche men's lacrosse opened the 2026 season on the road against Thiel, but fell to the Tomcats, 20-2.

Thiel would open the game with six goals in the first and then scored the first two of the second quarter, before Stephen Mescan off an assist from Goran Miloradovic made it 8-1.

Trailing 12-1 at half, the Redhawks scored their final goal to open the third quarter, the second of the game for Mescan.

La Roche ended the game with 12 shots, six of which were on goal, led by Miloradovic with six shots and two on target, as well as Mescan with two shots on goal.

Calvin Rowland faced 33 shots on goal and made 13 saves.

Next up for the Redhawks is a matchup with Franciscan, on the road, on Saturday, Mar. 4 at 7 p.m.
